SLD is Prepared
For years, SLD has coordinated projects in California that classify for HCAI level 1 and level 3 coordination, formally known as OSHPD.
SLD is experienced in managing projects that encounter this additional scope of planning, and are also prepared to coordinate with multiple parties for any required documentation or inspection during manufacturing.
Additional Project Scope:
SLD should be made aware of any level of HCAI coordination needed for a project. This initial notification of HCAI classification should be given to the SLD Sales personnel during Project Initiation.
The SLD Project Manager will track the additional scope of work during the Submittal to HCAI Process as well as Structural Analysis, Detail Design & Manufacturing of the SLD system.

No HCAI level coordination needed?
No problem!
If the project classification does not require any level of HCAI coordination, then it will follow the standard SLD Project Process.
HCAI Submittal Process Flowchart
The below chart labels the approximate timeline for an SLD project that requires HCAI review & approval.
It is most important to begin the Submittal Process with SLD early enough to allow for document generation prior to the date in which has been selected for Submission to HCAI for Review.
